  • 1 cup of all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup of malted milk powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
  • 1/4 cup of unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, malted milk powder, and baking soda. Set aside.

  3. In a large mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.

  5. Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.

  6. Fold in the chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the cookie dough.

  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.

  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for at least 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
