How To Make Lemon Star Biscuits

Ingredients
- 1 and 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Add the egg, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract. Mix well.

Gradually add the flour and salt to the mixture, stirring until fully combined.

Roll the dough out on a lightly floured surface until it’s about 1/4 inch thick.

Use a star-shaped cookie cutter to cut out the biscuits and place them onto the lined baking sheet.

Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
