How To Make Chocolate Bat Biscuits

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt.

Add the cold butter to the flour mixture and use your fingers or a pastry cutter to cut it into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk and vanilla extract. Gradually pour the milk mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring until a soft dough forms.

Fold in the mini chocolate chips.

Lightly flour a clean surface and roll out the dough to 1/4 inch thickness. Use a bat-shaped cookie cutter to cut out the biscuits and place them onto the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the biscuits are set and slightly golden around the edges.

Remove from the oven and allow them to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
