  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.

  2. In a mixing bowl, beat eggs until light yellow and frothy.

  3. Gradually add flour, sugar, milk, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt. Mix well until smooth.

  4. Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.

  5. Bake for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes.

  7. Transfer the cake to a wire rack to cool completely before serving.
