- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups grated green tomatoes
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.

In a separate large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing just until combined. Fold in grated green tomatoes and chopped walnuts.

Pour batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top. Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
