How To Make Butterscotch Brownies

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
- 1 cup of packed brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp of baking powder
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- 1/2 cup of butterscotch chips
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.

In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat until smooth. Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes.

In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs and vanilla extract together. Slowly pour in the melted butter and brown sugar mixture, stirring continuously.

In another bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.

Fold in the butterscotch chips, reserving a few for topping if desired.

Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula. Sprinkle the reserved butterscotch chips over the top.

Bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
