  • 8 slices of rye bread
  • 1 lb. smoked salmon
  • 1 lb. meatballs
  • 1 lb. boiled potatoes
  • 4 hard-boiled eggs, sliced
  • 1 cup pickled herring
  • 1 cup sliced cucumber
  • 1 cup mixed greens
  • 1 cup lingonberry jam
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup whipped butter
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Arrange rye bread on platter.

  2. Top with smoked salmon, meatballs, potatoes, eggs, herring, cucumber, and mixed greens.

  3. Serve with lingonberry jam, sour cream, whipped butter and salt/pepper.
