How To Make Swedish Pancakes Recipe

Thin, crepe-like pancakes that are a staple in Swedish cuisine.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of flour
  • 1 and 1/2 cups of milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp of sugar
  • 1/4 tsp of salt
  • Butter or oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and salt.

  2. Add milk and eggs to the mixture and whisk until smooth.

  3. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.

  4. Melt a small amount of butter or oil in the pan.

  5. Pour 1/4 cup of the batter into the pan and swirl it until it fills the bottom of the pan.

  6. Cook for 1-2 minutes or until the edges start to brown.

  7. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes or until golden brown.

  8. Repeat until all the batter is used, adding more butter or oil to the pan as needed.
