Ingredients

  • 2 cups lingonberries
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cinnamon stick (optional)

Instructions

  1. Rinse lingonberries in a colander and set aside.

  2. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar and water. Heat over medium heat until sugar dissolves.

  3. Add the lingonberries to the saucepan and stir to combine.

  4. Bring mixture to a boil and then reduce heat to low. Simmer for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the berries have popped and the mixture has thickened.

  5. Remove the cinnamon stick and let the jam cool to room temperature.

  6. Transfer the jam to a jar with a tight-fitting lid and store in the refrigerator.
