  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/4 tsp ground allspice
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground pork, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, garlic, parsley, allspice, nutmeg, salt, pepper, and egg. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  2. Shape the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.

  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a drizzle of oil. Place the meatballs in the skillet and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through.

  4. Serve the Swedish-style sausage meatballs hot with lingonberry jam and creamy mashed potatoes.
