Instructions

  1. Wash the potatoes and cut into bite-sized pieces.

  2. In a pot, cover potatoes with cold water and bring to a boil. Cook until tender, about 10-15 minutes.

  3. In a separate pot, melt butter and stir in flour to make a roux.

  4. Gradually add milk to the roux, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
