How To Make Swedish Ginger Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 egg
- 2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp salt
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.

Beat in molasses and egg.

In a separate bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and salt.

Gradually add these dry ingredients to the creamed mixture and mix until well combined.

Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place on a greased cookie sheet.

Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly browned.

Remove from oven and let cool on a wire rack.
