How To Make Simple Chicken Parmesan Recipe

Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- Fresh basil leaves, for garnish
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a shallow bowl, mix breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, dried basil, dried oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Dip each chicken breast into the beaten eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb mixture.

Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook the chicken breasts until golden brown on both sides.

Place the cooked chicken breasts in a baking dish and top with marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
