Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 cup grated courgettes (zucchini)
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Water (as needed)
  • Ghee or oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the whole wheat flour, grated courgettes, chopped coriander leaves, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin powder, and salt.

  2. Gradually add water, little by little, and knead the mixture into a soft dough. Let it rest for 10 minutes.

  3. Divide the dough into small portions and roll them into small, round discs.

  4. Heat a tawa or non-stick skillet over medium heat. Place the rolled discs on the hot tawa and cook until golden brown spots appear on both sides, applying ghee or oil on the surface.

  5. Serve hot with your favorite curry or chutney.
