Ingredients

  • 8 pork sausages
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. In a large baking dish, place the sausages and drizzle with 1 tbsp of vegetable oil. Bake for 15 minutes.

  3. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, pepper, eggs, and milk until smooth.

  4. Remove the sausages from the oven and pour the batter over them. Return to the oven and bake for another 15 minutes until the batter is golden and puffed up.

  5. Serve hot with gravy, mashed potatoes, and vegetables.
