How To Make Mini Toad-in-the-Holes

A delicious appetizer with sausages wrapped in a fluffy Yorkshire pudding batter.

Ingredients

  • 8 sausages
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Place the sausages in a baking dish and bake for 10 minutes.

  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, eggs, and milk until smooth.

  3. Remove the sausages from the oven and carefully pour the batter over each sausage, filling about 3/4 of the way.

  4. Drizzle the oil over the sausages and return to the oven. Bake for an additional 10 minutes until the batter is golden and puffed up.

  5. Serve hot and enjoy!
