Ingredients

  • 8 pork sausages
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. Place the sausages in a roasting pan and drizzle with oil. Roast in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.

  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, salt, eggs, and milk until smooth and well combined.

  4. Remove the sausages from the oven and pour the batter over them. Return to the oven and bake for another 25-30 minutes, or until the batter is well risen and golden brown.

  5. Serve hot with gravy and your choice of vegetables.
