Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Set aside.

  2. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken breasts and cook until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes per side.

  3. Pour honey soy sauce mixture over chicken, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 10 minutes, flipping chicken halfway through.

  4. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss the broccoli florets with a drizzle of sesame oil and spread them out on a baking sheet. Roast for 10-12 minutes or until tender.

  5. Serve the honey soy chicken with roasted broccoli and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
