Serves:
Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ginger, minced
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 4 cups broccoli florets
- 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
-
In a small bowl, combine honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and minced ginger. Set aside.
-
Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken breasts and cook until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes per side.
-
Pour honey soy sauce mixture over chicken, reduce heat to low, and simmer for 10 minutes, flipping chicken halfway through.
-
Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Toss the broccoli florets with a drizzle of sesame oil and spread them out on a baking sheet. Roast for 10-12 minutes or until tender.
-
Serve the honey soy chicken with roasted broccoli and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.
