How To Make Chicken Stir Fry

Chicken Stir Fry is a delicious and healthy dish made with lean protein, fresh vegetables, and flavorful sauce. This colorful and aromatic meal is perfect for a quick and easy weeknight dinner that the whole family will love.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced
  • 2 cups of broccoli florets
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon of ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over high heat.

  2. Add chicken strips and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.

  3. Remove chicken from the pan and set aside.

  4. In the same pan, add bell pepper, onion, broccoli florets, garlic, and ginger, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

  5. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, and a pinch of salt and pepper.

  6. Add the chicken back to the pan, pour the sauce over the chicken and vegetables, and stir-fry for an additional 1-2 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.

  7. Serve the chicken stir fry hot over a bed of rice or noodles.
