Asian Fish Tacos Recipe

How To Make Asian Fish Tacos

Fusion of Mexican and Asian flavors, with crispy fish, tangy slaw and spicy aioli.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb white fish fillets
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp paprika
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 8 corn tortillas
  • 1 cup Asian slaw mix
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Sriracha sauce
  • Lime wedges (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.

  2. In a shallow bowl, mix flour, salt, black pepper, paprika and garlic powder.

  3. Cut fish into small pieces and coat them in the flour mixture.

  4. In a skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat.

  5. Add fish to the skillet and cook for about 3 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.

  6. Warm tortillas in the oven.

  7. In a bowl, mix Asian slaw mix, rice vinegar and soy sauce.

  8. In a separate bowl, mix mayonnaise and Sriracha sauce.

  9. Assemble tacos by placing a piece of fish on each tortilla, topped with slaw mixture and a drizzle of spicy aioli.

  10. Garnish with lime wedges and serve.
