How To Make The Capital Grille’s Shrimp Scampi Recipe

Juicy shrimp and buttery garlic, cooked in white wine sauce, served over pasta.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of large shrimp, deveined and peeled
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, divided
  • 3 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 lb linguine
  • Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions.

  2. In a pan, melt half of the butter and add the shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes until pink, then remove and set aside.

  3. In the same pan, melt remaining butter and add garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

  4. Add white wine and lemon juice, and let the mixture simmer for a few minutes until slightly reduced.

  5. Add shrimp back to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and heat through.

  6. Serve shrimp scampi over cooked pasta, garnished with fresh parsley.
