How To Make Pasta House Chicken Parmesan Recipe

Classic chicken parmesan recipe served with pasta and tangy marinara sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 4 slices mozzarella cheese
  • 1 box (1 lb) cooked pasta

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. Season flour with salt and pepper in a shallow dish.

  3. In another shallow dish, beat eggs.

  4. In a third shallow dish, mix together breadcrumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.

  5. Coat chicken in flour, then dip into egg mixture, and coat with breadcrumb mixture.

  6. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

  7. Fry chicken in oil until golden brown on both sides.

  8. Place chicken in a baking dish and cover with marinara sauce.

  9. Top with mozzarella cheese and bake for 20-25 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

  10. Serve with cooked pasta and additional marinara sauce if desired.
