How To Make Macaroni Grills Chicken Scaloppine Recipe
A tender and flavorful chicken dish topped with a lemon butter sauce and capers.

Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp capers
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions

Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness with a meat mallet.

In a shallow bowl, mix the flour, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper.

Dredge the chicken in the flour mixture.

Heat 2 tbsp of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken and cook for about 4-5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through.

Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Add the chicken broth, white wine, lemon juice, capers, and remaining 2 tbsp of butter to the skillet.

Stir and cook for about 2-3 minutes to thicken the sauce.

Add the chicken back to the skillet and spoon the sauce over the chicken.

Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve.
