How To Make Clint’s Meatball Subs Recipe

Delicious meatball subs that will leave you satisfied.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 sub rolls
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, garlic, parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Form mixture into meatballs about the size of a golf ball.
  4. In a large skillet, brown meatballs on all sides over medium-high heat.
  5. Place meatballs in a baking dish and pour marinara sauce over them.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through.
  7. Meanwhile, slice sub rolls in half and place them on a baking sheet.
  8. Toast the sub rolls in the oven for 5 minutes.
  9. Place 3-4 meatballs on each sub roll.
  10. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella on top of the meatballs.
  11. Bake subs for 5-10 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  12. Top with fresh parsley (optional) and serve hot.
