How To Make Giordano’s Tomato Basil Soup Recipe
A comforting, creamy soup made with juicy tomatoes, aromatic basil, and rich cream.

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 4 cups diced tomatoes
- 1 cup vegetable broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions

In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat.

Add onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add tomatoes and broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.

Remove from heat and blend soup with an immersion blender or transfer to a blender and blend until smooth.

Return soup to the pot, stir in cream, basil, salt, and pepper.

Simmer for another 5-10 minutes until heated through.

Serve hot with crusty bread.
