How To Make Johnny’s Veggie Burger Recipe
Delicious vegetarian burger made with a variety of veggies and spices.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 can of black beans, drained
- 1 cup of cooked quinoa
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1 zucchini, grated
- 1 tsp of smoked paprika
- 1 tsp of cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
- 4 burger buns
- Toppings of your choice (lettuce, tomato, onion, avocado)
Instructions

In a large bowl, mash the black beans with a fork.

Add the cooked quinoa, chopped onion, minced garlic, grated carrot and zucchini, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Crack an egg and mix it into the veggie burger mixture.

Add the breadcrumbs and mix until everything is well combined.

Divide the mixture into 4 equal parts and form them into patties.

Heat up a pan on medium-high heat and add a little bit of oil.

Cook each patty for 4-5 minutes on each side or until they are golden brown and crispy.

Toast the burger buns and assemble your burger with the veggie patty and toppings of your choice.
