How To Make Farmers Market Restaurant’s Veggie Burger Recipe
A delicious and filling veggie burger, made with fresh ingredients sourced from the farmers market.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 can of black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup of cooked quinoa
- 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup of diced onion
- 1/4 cup of diced red pepper
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tsp of cumin
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 whole wheat buns
- Toppings of your choice (e.g. lettuce, tomato, avocado)
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F.

In a large mixing bowl, mash the black beans with a fork or potato masher until they form a paste-like consistency.

Add in the cooked quinoa, breadcrumbs, onion, red pepper, garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.

Place the patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake the patties for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy on the outside.

Place each patty on a whole wheat bun and add your favorite toppings.
