Ingredients

  • 4 veggie burger patties
  • 4 burger buns
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 small tomato, sliced
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise

Instructions

  1. Preheat the grill or stovetop grill pan.

  2. Cook the veggie burger patties according to the package instructions.

  3. Toast the burger buns on the grill until lightly browned.

  4. Place a slice of cheese on each veggie patty and allow it to melt.

  5. Assemble the burgers by placing a veggie patty with melted cheese on the bottom half of each bun.

  6. Top with red onion slices, tomato slices, shredded lettuce, and avocado slices.

  7. Mix ketchup and mayonnaise in a small bowl, then spread the mixture on the top half of each bun.

  8. Place the top bun on each burger and serve.
