How To Make Blue Ribbon Mac and Cheese Recipe
Creamy, cheesy and delicious mac and cheese with a crispy breadcrumb topping.

Ingredients
- 8 oz elbow macaroni
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350F.

Cook macaroni according to package instructions.

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Whisk in flour until smooth.

Gradually add milk, whisking constantly. Stir in salt and pepper.

Cook until sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheese until melted.

Add cooked macaroni to cheese sauce and mix well.

Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top of mac and cheese.

Bake for 25-30 minutes until top is golden brown.
