Ingredients
- 1lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 1/2 cup chopped carrots
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1/2 cup frozen peas
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie crust
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Season chicken with salt and pepper and set aside.

In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat.

Add onion, carrots, and celery and cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.

Add chicken to the pot and cook until browned on all sides.

Stir in flour and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Whisk in chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring constantly until smooth.

Add frozen peas, thyme, and garlic powder.
