How To Make Bakers Square Apple Pie Recipe
A classic American apple pie recipe with a flaky crust and a sweet, cinnamon apple filling.

Ingredients
- 1 pie crust
- 6 cups sliced apples
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 tbsp flour
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp sugar
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Roll out pie crust and place in a 9-inch pie dish.

In a large bowl, mix sliced apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Pour into pie crust and dot with butter.

Roll out remaining pie crust and place on top of filling. Cut slits in top crust and brush with beaten egg. Sprinkle with 1 tbsp of sugar.

Bake for 50-60 minutes or until filling is bubbly and crust is golden brown. Serve warm with a dollop of whipped cream.
