How To Make Bakers Square Coconut Cream Pie Recipe
A creamy, coconut-filled pie with a flaky crust and topped with whipped cream.

Ingredients
- 1 pie crust
- 1 cup sweetened shredded coconut
- 2 cups half-and-half
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 1/3 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Whipped cream (optional)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Toast the coconut in a pan for 5-7 minutes, set aside.

Combine half-and-half, eggs, sugar, cornstarch, and salt into a saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until thick (about 10-12 minutes).

Remove from heat and add in vanilla extract and 3/4 cup of coconut.

Pour mixture into pie crust.

Sprinkle remaining coconut on top of the pie.

Bake for 25 minutes and let cool.
