  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the barbecue sauce, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well combined.

  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken breasts in the slow cooker, ensuring that all the chicken is coated.

  4. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low heat for 4 hours, or until the chicken is tender and easily shreds with a fork.

  5. Once the chicken is done, remove it from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks.

  6. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker and mix it with the remaining sauce in the cooker.

  7. Serve the pulled chicken on hamburger buns and enjoy!
