How To Make Gong Bao Chicken

Ingredients
- 400g boneless chicken, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup roasted peanuts
- 2-3 dried chili peppers, chopped
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 inch piece of ginger, grated
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
Instructions

In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, rice vinegar, hoisin sauce, cornstarch, sugar, black pepper, and chicken broth. Set aside.

Heat vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic, ginger, and chili peppers. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add chicken to the wok and stir-fry until cooked through and golden brown.

Pour in the sauce mixture and stir well, allowing the sauce to thicken.

Add roasted peanuts and green onions to the wok, and stir-fry for another minute.

Serve Gong Bao Chicken hot with steamed rice.
