Ingredients

  • 8 oz spaghetti
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 small cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1 lemon, zested and juiced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • Parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.

  3. Add the sliced cabbage to the skillet and cook until slightly softened.

  4. Stir in the lemon zest and juice, followed by the heavy cream. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. Cook the mixture for a few more minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

  6. In a separate small skillet, toast the bread crumbs with a little olive oil until golden and crispy.

  7. Divide the cooked spaghetti onto serving plates. Pour the creamy cabbage mixture over the pasta.

  8. Sprinkle with the toasted bread crumbs and garnish with parsley.

  9. Serve hot and enjoy!
