  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine oats, whole wheat flour, caraway seeds, baking powder, and salt.

  2. Gradually add milk, water, and melted butter to the dry ingredients. Mix well to form a sticky dough.

  3. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.

  4. Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the skillet, forming small oatcakes. Flatten gently with the back of the spoon.

  5. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until the oatcakes are golden brown and cooked through.
