How To Make Green Bell Pepper and Chicken Stir-Fry Recipe

A delicious stir-fry made with crunchy bell peppers and tender chicken.

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, cornstarch, sugar, and a pinch of salt and pepper.
  2. Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
  3. Add chicken and stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Remove chicken from pan and set aside.
  5. Add bell peppers and onion to the pan and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until crisp-tender.
  6. Add garlic and stir-fry for another 30 seconds.
  7. Return chicken to the pan and add the soy sauce mixture.
  8. Continue to stir-fry until the sauce thickens and coats the chicken and vegetables.
  9. Serve immediately over rice or noodles.
