Ingredients

  • 4 sirloin steaks
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, fish sauce, lime juice, brown sugar, minced garlic, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to make the marinade.

  2. Place the sirloin steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let the steaks marinate for at least 30 minutes, turning them occasionally.

  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

  4. Remove the steaks from the marinade and pat them dry. Brush each side of the steaks with vegetable oil.

  5. Grill the steaks for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

  6. Remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes.

  7. Slice the steaks against the grain and serve with your favorite side dishes.
