How To Make Beef Sausage and Lentil Soup Recipe
A hearty and flavorful soup made with beef sausage and lentils.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sausage, sliced
- 1 cup lentils, rinsed and drained
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 4 cups beef broth
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions

In a large pot, brown the beef sausage over medium heat until fully cooked. Remove from the pot and set aside.

In the same pot, sauté the onions and garlic until fragrant and softened.

Add the thyme and smoked paprika and cook for another minute.

Add the beef broth, lentils, diced tomatoes, and cooked sausage to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 30 minutes or until the lentils are tender.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
