How To Make Beef Sausage and Cabbage Skillet

A hearty and delicious beef sausage and cabbage skillet that is perfect for a quick and easy mid-week meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb of beef sausage, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 head of cabbage, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup of beef broth
  • 1 tbsp of tomato paste
  • 1 tsp of paprika
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, cook the beef sausage over medium heat until browned.

  2. Add the onion and garlic and cook for 2-3 minutes until softened.

  3. Add the cabbage, beef broth, tomato paste, paprika, salt and pepper and stir to combine.

  4. Cover the skillet and simmer for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender and the sauce has thickened.

  5. Serve hot.
