Ingredients

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 4 cups mixed greens (spinach, kale, or Swiss chard)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Set aside.

  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the beef slices and cook until browned, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  3. In the same skillet, add the mushrooms and garlic. Cook until the mushrooms are tender and lightly browned, about 5 minutes.

  4. Add the mixed greens to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes.

  5. Return the beef to the skillet and pour in the sauce mixture. Stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes, until everything is heated through and well combined.

  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Serve the beef, mushroom, and greens stir-fry hot over steamed rice or noodles.
