Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 slices bacon, diced
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, diced bacon, chopped onion, minced garlic, breadcrumbs, milk, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, salt, black pepper, dried thyme, and dried oregano until well combined.

  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased loaf pan and press it down to form a loaf shape.

  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).

  5. Remove from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
