Ingredients

  • 4 beef burger patties
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 4 pineapple rings
  • 4 slices of beetroot
  • 4 leaves of lettuce
  • 4 tomato slices
  • 4 fried eggs
  • 1/4 cup of BBQ sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or barbecue to medium-high heat.

  2. Season the burger patties with salt and pepper on both sides.

  3. Cook the patties on the grill for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.

  4. While the patties are cooking, toast the hamburger buns on the grill until lightly golden.

  5. Once the patties are cooked, top each one with a slice of cheddar cheese and allow it to melt.

  6. At the same time, cook the bacon on the grill until crispy.

  7. Assemble the burgers by placing a patty with melted cheese on the bottom half of each bun.

  8. Top each patty with a pineapple ring, a slice of beetroot, a lettuce leaf, a tomato slice, and a fried egg.

  9. Drizzle BBQ sauce over the ingredients.

  10. Finish off the burgers with a slice of bacon and the top half of the bun.

  11. Serve the Aussie burgers with the lot and enjoy!
