Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • Additional butter for cooking

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and salt.

  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and melted butter.

  3. Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, whisking until smooth.

  4. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a small pat of butter.

  5. Pour 1/4 cup of the batter into the skillet, swirling it around to evenly coat the bottom.

  6. Cook for about 2 minutes, until the edges are golden brown.

  7. Flip the crepe and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes on the other side.

  8. Remove the crepe from the skillet and set aside.

  9. Repeat with the remaining batter, adding more butter to the skillet as needed.

  10. Serve the crepes warm with your choice of toppings, such as fresh fruit, whipped cream, or Nutella.
