Who says vegetarians don’t get to enjoy savory meals? A taste of these authentic vegetarian recipes will make you change your mind. So, you just might want to go vegetarian after your first bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • Cooking spray or oil for greasing the pan
  • Toppings of your choice (e.g., fresh fruit, vegan chocolate spread, nuts, etc.)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, almond milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt. Whisk until well combined and smooth.

  2. Heat a non-stick skillet or crepe pan over medium heat. Lightly grease the pan with cooking spray or a small amount of oil.

  3. Pour 1/4 cup of the crepe batter onto the hot pan and immediately tilt the pan in a circular motion to spread the batter evenly.

  4. Cook the crepe for about 2 minutes or until the edges start to brown. Flip the crepe and cook for another minute.

  5. Transfer the cooked crepe to a plate and repeat the process with the remaining batter.

  6. Serve the vegan crepes with your favorite toppings such as fresh fruit, vegan chocolate spread, nuts, or any other desired toppings.
