Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh corn kernels
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup cornmeal
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 1 green onion, finely chopped
- Vegetable oil, for frying
Instructions

In a mixing bowl, combine the corn kernels, flour, cornmeal, baking powder, salt, and black pepper.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, and green onion.

Pour the wet ingredients into the corn mixture and stir until well combined.

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.

Drop spoonfuls of the corn batter into the hot oil and flatten with the back of a spoon.
