How To Make Easy Spaghetti with Tomato Sauce

Ingredients
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving
Instructions

Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and sauté until they are soft and fragrant.

Add the crushed tomatoes, sugar, dried basil, and dried oregano to the pan. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add the cooked spaghetti to the pan and toss until it is evenly coated in the tomato sauce.

Serve the spaghetti with grated Parmesan cheese on top.
