How To Make Salt Beef Club with Cajun Fries

Ingredients

  • 8 slices of your choice of bread
  • 500g salt beef, thinly sliced
  • 4 slices of Swiss cheese
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • For the Cajun fries:
  • 4 large potatoes, cut into fries
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • Salt, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

  2. In a bowl, toss the potato fries with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, and salt. Spread them on a baking sheet and bake for 30-35 minutes until golden and crispy.

  3. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper.

  4. Toast the bread slices until golden.

  5. On one slice of bread, spread a layer of the mayonnaise mixture. Top with salt beef, Swiss cheese, tomato slices, lettuce, and another slice of bread.

  6. Repeat step 5 to make 4 sandwiches.

  7. Cut each sandwich into halves or quarters for easier serving.

  8. Serve the Salt Beef Club sandwiches with the Cajun fries on the side.
