Serves:
Ingredients
- 4 steak cuts (such as ribeye or sirloin)
- 1 tbsp smoked paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 large potatoes, diced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1/2 cabbage, thinly sliced
- 1 carrot, grated
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp hot sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
-
Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat. Season the steaks with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Grill the steaks for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare. Remove from heat and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
-
Meanwhile, preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). In a bowl, toss the diced potatoes with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Spread them out on a baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes, or until crispy and golden.
-
In a separate bowl, combine the thinly sliced cabbage, grated carrot, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, hot sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well to coat the slaw.
-
Serve the sliced steak with the Cajun potatoes and spicy slaw on the side.
