  • 1 lb Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
  • 1 cup black pudding, sliced
  • 1 apple, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Vegetable oil, for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper.

  2. Dip Brussels sprouts, black pudding, and apple slices into the flour mixture, coating them evenly.

  3. Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).

  4. Fry the Brussels sprouts, black pudding, and apple slices in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.

  5. Remove from oil and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.

  6. Serve hot and enjoy!
